Sammy Thighs knows hosiery. With more than two million followers across social media, she has built an audience around trying on, reviewing, and talking about stockings, tights, and plenty of fabulous fashion finds along the way.
So when she tried VienneMilano, we were especially curious to hear what she thought.
Sammy unboxed a selection of our Made in Italy styles and followed up with a try-on review, sharing her thoughts on everything from color and softness to fit, stretch, and stay-up comfort.

First Impressions: The Unboxing
Sammy started with the package itself, opening everything piece by piece and taking a first look at the colors, fabrics, and lace.
Inside was quite the mix: Classic Black, Pearl White, Hazelnut with Baby Blue Lace, Rose Pink, and a rich Sapphire Blue.
What caught her attention first was the feel. She commented on the softness, stretch, quality, and depth of the colors before she had even tried anything on.
One detail we especially appreciated: Sammy mentioned that our team had asked for her height and thigh measurements before selecting her size. There was a reason for that. Thigh highs are not one-size-fits-all, and a few measurements can make a big difference in where the band sits and how comfortable it feels. We wanted to send her styles that actually had a chance of fitting properly—not simply drop a box in the mail and hope for the best.

Then Came the Try-On
The second video is where you really get to see the hosiery come to life.
Sammy tried on several pairs and paid attention to the things that matter once hosiery is actually on the leg: the band, the stretch, the sheerness, the feel of the fabric, and, of course, whether everything stays where it should.
Before she even opened the first pair, Sammy took off her rings - Hosiery people will understand why we loved that! Rings, bracelets, rough nails, and other little snags are often the real enemy of sheer stockings. Taking jewelry off before putting them on is one of those small habits that can help a beautiful pair stay beautiful.
A Few Styles That Stood Out
REGINA Sheer Thigh Highs in Sapphire Blue
Sammy shared that these were her first blue thigh highs, and the color immediately got her attention. Sapphire Blue is bold without being difficult to wear, and she loved the way the jewel tone looked against her skin and blonde hair.
She also had plenty to say about the softness - which, admittedly, we never get tired of hearing.
CLAUDIA Opaque Thigh Highs in Rose Pink
Pink was a bit of a surprise.
Sammy admitted that she normally gravitates toward black and does not typically reach for colorful opaque hosiery. And yet, once CLAUDIA was on, she changed her tune. The vivid color, soft feel, and comfortable fit won her over. Sometimes the pair you would never pick for yourself is exactly the pair that ends up being the most fun.
ISABELLA Sheer Thigh Highs in Pearl White
ISABELLA brought out a very different reaction. With her sheer finish and intricate lace top, Sammy immediately described the Pearl White pair as bridal—and we can certainly see why.
They have that romantic, special-occasion look that works beautifully for weddings, bridal events, or simply an outfit that deserves something prettier underneath.
Sammy’s Sizing Tip
Sammy tried a 2XL, even though she noted that she often wears a 1XL.
Her takeaway? If you prefer a little more room around the upper thigh, sizing up may give you a more comfortable fit without sacrificing the look or stretch of the stocking.
She also commented on the stay-up band, noting that it felt soft against her leg and stayed in place without pinching or digging in. That is exactly what a good thigh high band should do: stay up, sit comfortably, and let you get on with your day!
